Besom Broom Making

Besom brooms were traditionally used for sweeping up – but anyone familiar with folklore or Pagan belief will know that they can also have ritual or ceremonial uses. This workshop will take you through all the stages of making your own besom broom from natural materials which you’ll take away at the end of the workshop.

If you’re planning to use your besom for ritual or for your handfasting then feel free to bring along decorative items such as dried flowers and ribbons which can be incorporated into your creation.
